So you think you can dance with Matisyahu? If you have the dance moves to keep up with the reggae sensation’s high velocity beats, then I recommend jumping up on stage with Matisyahu in the middle of his concert! Especially during the hit song off his brand new album! Then make all your friends jealous by showing them the video proof of your daring move.
Telekinetic, mind-control, mind over matter, this are most of the traits that you will be seeing in this movie. Nick Grant (Chris Evans) is a “mover,” a second-generation telekinetic who went into hiding after the Division killed his father more than a decade earlier. He lives a life of anonymity in Hong Kong, a densely populated place where fugitive psychics such as himself are safe as long as they can keep their unique gift secret. Suddenly into Nick’s life comes 13-year-old “watcher” Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning), a clairvoyant who needs his help in tracking down escaped “pusher” Kira, who may hold the key to bringing down the Division once and for all. A “pusher” is the most powerful kind of psychic due to his or her ability to influence the actions of others by planting thoughts in their minds. A “pusher” is the most powerful kind of psychic due to his or her ability to influence the actions of others by planting thoughts in their minds. Now, as Nick emerges from hiding in order to help Cassie find Kira, the Division’s human bloodhounds are hot on their trail. In order to elude the authorities, they’ll need to disappear into the seedy underbelly of the city while relying on a team of rogue psychics to help cover their tracks. But Division Agent Henry Carver (Djimon Hounsou) is a powerful pusher who has made it his mission to stop them at all costs, regardless of the collateral damages that may occur in the process.
My Review:
My kind of movie, it’s really amazing to think there are those people who can actually control matter or even plant what to do in their minds. The idea of the movie plus the excellent casting is most admired not only by me but also some of the moviegoers. Eventhough it seems unreal, you can think that in the near future it might happen or does this kind of people really exist. I enjoy watching this movie and I am sure you too will. Have fun and don’t forget to bring your pop-corn.
After a plane crash, a young therapist, Claire, is assigned by her mentor to counsel the flight’s five survivors. When they share their recollections of the incident — which some say include an explosion that the airline claims never happened — Claire is intrigued by Eric, the most secretive of the passengers. Just as Claire’s professional relationship with Eric — despite her better judgment — blossoms into a romance, the survivors begin to disappear mysteriously, one by one. Claire suspects that Eric may hold all the answers and becomes determined to uncover the truth, no matter the consequences.
My Review:
Wow! A nice movie which burst your brain out due to its mystery and surprises, you would not think that the ending of the story would turn out that way. I am really surprised the way the author of the movie came up with such story. I am a movie critic and very sensitive in the story flow of every movie I watched. Surprisingly, this movie is one of a kind, although it has similar stories on some of the scenes especially on the realization of the character what is happening around. Movie was short but concise and you will not be able to say or comment what had happened but just be surprised. Well it’s time for you to figure out what I am telling you. I am not a spoiler most of the time. I just spoil movies are not worth it too much. So enjoy watching this one.
Bolt tells the story of a dog who is convinced that his role as a super dog is reality. When he is ripped from his world of fantasy, and action by his own doing. His own obsession with his owner and keeping her protected from the green eyed man of the television show he works on completely absorbs his life. This takes him to the point of no return when he believes that she has been kidnapped, and he accidentally gets packaged and shipped to New York city in pursuit of his owner. This is when the story unfolds, and he goes through a transitional period where he learns that he is as super as every other dog. His disbelief of his abilities being non existent fuels a lot of different emotional changes, and eventually comes to a reality of who he really is. This all culminates when he finds his owner and reunites with her in the action packed climax of the movie.
My Review:
Bolt, is a kind of movie that makes your hard melts; the story is all about the relationship of men’s best friend not a dog but the younger one, puppy. The journey and life of the puppy which is a star of a TV show, and let him believe that he has all super powers and a super hero with a lightning bolt marked on his side. He realized it when he accidentally escaped by means of shipping himself in a box to New York City and has to find the way back and looked for his owner. As he go along with his journey to find his owner. He eventually realized that all his beliefs and live for are not true that he has the ability as the same as everyone canine in the world. The cat, hamster and puppy scenes are funny and cute good for young ages. Some of the adult movie fanatics are disappointed because they thought that they will see a sci-fi movie adventure which is unreal. But it turned out and can possibly be a real story. Yup he has no superpowers but he has instincts and knows how to save human in danger as what he did in this movie.
In the original movie, a flying saucer orbits Earth, and lands in Washington, DC, on the Mall. Klaatu (Michael Rennie) steps out and is shot by a jumpy soldier. Gort (Lock Martin), an indestructible robot steps out of the spacecraft and proceeds to melt all the weapons, including tanks. Later, the Earth comes to realize that Gort has used very little of his power to make this happen.
While lying on the ground, Klaatu orders Gort to stop, and is then taken by the military to a hospital from which he later escapes in order to learn more about this planet called Earth and its human inhabitants. He meets Helen Benson (Patricia Neal) and her son Billy (Billy Gray); takes Klaatu on a tour of Washington, DC; and finally stops in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Klaatu reads the words uttered by Lincoln many years ago and realizes that there might be hope for Earth.
When they begin to suspect the alien man, he reveals himself, along with the news that Gort is a member of a race of super-robot enforcers invented to keep the peace of the galaxy and will destroy the Earth if provoked. Klaatu is pursued and shot and killed by the military. Before Klaatu dies, he tells Helen to go to Gort, and say the words “Klaatu barada nikto.” If she does not, Klaatu tells her Gort will destroy the Earth. Helen makes her way to the ship and finds Gort. As the robot moves towards her, she repeats the phrase over and over. The robot picks her up and takes her into the ship. It then retrieves Klaatu’s body and, through their alien science, resurrects Klaatu.
The 2008 remake about an alien and his indestructible robot will star Keanu Reeves as Klaatu, Jennifer Connelly as Helen Benson, Jaden Smith as Jacob, and Kathy Bates. Gort has not been cast at this time and will most likely be created using SFX.
The remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still will supposedly remain true to the original movie. However, there is a chance the remake will more likely remain true to the short story upon which the 1951 movie is based. In either case, the alien weaponry seems to have been upgraded. In addition to a city going dark, and a very brief look at the new Gort, the film trailer shows a cloud of black smoke, capable of rapid movement and disintegrating matter on contact.
In the 1951 movie, Gort is described as one of a race of robots created by the planets to maintain peace throughout the galaxy. If the 2008 remake follows “Farewell to the Master,” the short story by Harry Bates upon which the 1951 movie is based will be used for the ending, which will not be revealed here.
My Review:
Keanu Reeves effectively played the rule as Klaatu, It’s amazingly still the effects of the science fiction movie is effective these days due to our advance technology, the movie scenes revolves on how Helen Benson (Jennifer Connely) try to put a stop in destroying the human race. It’s funny the way movie goes because even United States has the most powerful weapon. They couldn’t do anything about it. All of their weapons are useless. The alien is genetically and biologically invincible to any man-made attacks. They can recycle and destroy things and turn it back to the way it was. The mission of Klaatu is to clean all mankind and reborn the earth while Helen try to stop Klaatu from doing it. As the story goes along, Klaatu discovered that people can do change by means of their own free will. He realized it through the mother and son relationship of Helen and Jacob. The day the earth stood still when Klaatu left the planet earth. This close encounter of the third kind is unreal but really inspiring to watch for. So to all those sci-fi fanatics like me. I’m sure you will enjoy this movie.
TWILIGHT is an action-packed, modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother re-marries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she’s ever met. Edward is a vampire, but he doesn’t have fangs and his family is unique in that they choose not to drink human blood. Intelligent and witty, Edward sees straight into Bella’s soul. Soon, they are swept up in a passionate, thrilling and unorthodox romance. To Edward, Bella is what he has waited 90 years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when a clan of new vampires – James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) – come to town and threaten to disrupt their way of life?
My Review:
The movie was oddly quite boring… for those who are looking for some action packed adventure and enormous rampage of killing scene. This movie is not for you. It’s all about Bella Swan who fell in love with a vampire Edward Cullen, which means this is a modern day love story with a twist of the past. Past which means vampire clan in the modern day. It’s very disappointing for all you can see in this movie are talk and no! More talk. Boring as it is, but in fairness to the editor of this story, the overall content is good but the outcome of the movie is not so good. Well to tell you frankly I’m not into it… I don’t know if I will be watching the next sequel of this movie because of my disappointment on this movie. The movie effects are excellent and also the short fighting scene between Edward and the other vampire. My only favorite part of the movie is when those time the vampire family of Edward was playing American Baseball and nothing else.
For generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights. Now, two teenagers in a race against time, must search Ember for clues that will unlock the ancient mystery of the city’s existence, and help the citizens escape before the lights go out forever.
Ember is a city built to last 200 years. The Builders of this city left instructions to the mayors in a box that would open by itself, unfortunately, one of the mayors was corrupt, and tossed the box into a closet, to be forgotten about for centuries. The year is 241. Lina Mayfleet, and Doon Harrow are two children in Ember that find themselves on a mission to save their dying city. For the citys lights are beginning to flicker, and the food supplies are running out. Doon lands a job in the Pipeworks, to see if he can fix the generator. Lina’s job is simple, she is a messenger, but she soon finds herself in over her head when she discovers the instructions left by the builders so long ago. Her and Doon find themselves on an adventure when they discover the way out of Ember, but corrupt officials, and a treacherous mayor stand against their wishes of saving the city. With courage and heart they brave the darkness, all to help their citizens escape the dying city, and lead them to another world.
My Review:
This science fiction movie is one of a kind. You can see how creative the author was in thinking what will happen in the future. Darkness for 2000 years is difficult, living underground to be exact a city underground powered by a generator to be able to survive. Mankind survived through the darkness as the story goes. Even through these times, still corrupted government is present and still only those people who are fighting and brave can conquer these kind of government.
Lauryn is a young woman from a small town in Indiana who moves to Chicago with dreams of entering the Chicago School of Music and Dance. But after rejection and a series of misfortunes she finds herself working in a burlesque club. The club proves to be a place of conflict and self-discovery, helping Lauryn to realize that even though plans may change, dreams never do.
My Review:
The dance moves are awesome and the story will not leave you hanging for it is not focusing mainly on dance. The movie emphasizes about reaching a dream with the help of the family. Even so there is a tragic moment that happened to ones life. It should not be a barrier in reaching ones goal. This is a must see movie especially to those who want to know some twist in dancing and to those who about or almost gave up to their dreams just because of what happen to their life.

Strahm follows all the leads he can get off Hoffman, including the death of his sister and why he joined Jigsaw. Hoffman and Strahm circle each other until it boils down to a gruesome and bone-crushing finale.
My Review:
This twisted suspense horror movie is always making me feel excited and amazed how brilliant the main character Jigsaw rehabilitates his victims and give chance to those who have committed mistakes in their lives. Brilliantly arranged and a sequel to the past movies. Its two thumbs up for those who have twisted mind and teaching people in learning on how to survive in such chaotic situation.
The blockbuster global "Mummy" franchise takes a spellbinding turn as the action shifts to Asia for the next chapter in the adventure series, "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor." And this time, the O’Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service.

As the monarch roars back to life, our heroes find his quest for world domination has only intensified over the millennia. Striding the Far East with unimaginable supernatural powers, the Emperor Mummy will rouse his legion as an unstoppable, otherworldly force…unless the O’Connells can stop him first.
My Reviews:
As expected from the actor Brendan Frasier, with her new partner from Rachel Weiss to Maria Bello was expected to be a breath taking experience. With his new grown up rebel son who don’t want to go to college but instead raiding tombs which obviously his dad previous work, and also who’s the one discovered the whereabouts of the tomb of the dragon emperor. Highly intense war and chase scenes will truly thrill you with the mix of fun and laughter. Expected seems are the battle of the mummy warriors. The three abominable snowmen appeared and summoned. Indeed the director knows where to tickle its audience. Even some of the cast had changed. The story and thrill of adventure has not.
In the distant future, a small waste collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind.
My Review
This 3d animation by PIXAR has a very futuristic approach on what will happen in the near future. The earth was full of garbage and only Wall-E robots are the one who’s piling up our trash. The entire human race is outside the galaxy because earth was too polluted to live. All the people are fat and they do not have any idea what surrounds them because they keep on chatting and eating meals in a cup. Their chairs are automated and most of their assistants are high-tech robots. When Eve was sent to the planet earth to search for a life force such as plant the love-story of Wall-E(Wally) and Eve(E-vah) began should I continue the story? No, of course you should see them for yourself. Surely you will still enjoy this movie.
A crew of miniature aliens operate a spaceship that has a human form. While trying to save their planet, the aliens encounter a new problem, as their ship becomes smitten with an Earth woman (Banks).
My Review:
From the start of the money you seem to burst with laughter when Eddie Murphy makes funny faces in imitating the earthlings. As the captain of the human spaceship. He should run the space ship nice and slow until a widow bumped their space ship with her car. Will he able to save his planet and destroy ours? Or he and his crew will just leave us alone? What you should expect in this movie will not be a waste for sure that it will bring you to out of this world experience and make you remember that little things can make a big difference .
Donna’s senior prom is supposed to be the best night of her life, though a sadistic killer from her past has different plans for her and her friends.

To give you a preview whats in the movie. I’ll give you an overview on what the movie is. The Pevensie siblings return to Narnia, where they are enlisted to once again help ward off an evil king and restore the rightful heir to the land’s throne, Prince Caspian.
Of course it was 3000 in Narnia while in our world it does seem for a year passed. There are centaurs as usual. The white witch had reappear for a while. And cool massive battles. Well see for yourself…
